Wait!! The Onam has not yet gone..

Had Onam Celebrations with NRI's from our land.
We gathered in Sale Moor Community Centre in Cheshire.
The programme was action packed.
I was amazed to see the girls performing traditional dances.
It is good to see that these people find time to celebrate Onam
in the midst of all the difficulties.
After the programme Alex achachan picked us to his house
in Knotty Ash at Liverpool.
The countdown begins for the Yorkshire trip.
The more you go the more you realize how beutiful this country is.
The beautiful green fields, the state of the art technologies and
the chilling cool breeze, everything will add something to your
basket of experience.I won't go for anything.I will wait for things
to come my way..That is the only option...

The induction

Went for the induction ceremony.
Prof Dr. A. Lisitsa delivered a beautiful introductory speech..
Chandan joined me in the morning. Then we met Sed, Kiran and Virangana. We Got disappointed to hear that I've to pay £100 for using the University Fitness Centre. No way !!! The same was the case with Ela and Ada..The pound matters...
This is me becoming hapless..

The Traford Centre

Today we went to the Trafford Centre with our neighbour Wilson.
Being the largest shopping centre in the United Kingdom by the overall size, the Trafford centre has the hubs of almost all famous brands of any commodities. With the limited time we could only cover the Regent Crescent,a section of the Trafford. This wonder stands proud as a symbol of British Consumerism.
On the way back we saw the home ground of the Manchester United FC.
Here are few snaps

A day in the University

Today I went to the University of Liverpool to confirm my registration in the University.Saw an enormous crowd in front of the Foundation building.Thank God that I've alrady finished my formalities.I felt a bit lonely in the beginning but then I got a beautiful Turkish girl Ela for my company. She is an undergraduate student in the Department of Architecture. The Liverpool dialect is a bit different. It sounded funny at the beginning.
I visited the department of Architecture with Ela.Ela is so good with maps that she guided me to the Ashton Building where the mighty Department of Computer Science is.I was told to attend the induction on Friday the 23rd of September.
The much anticipated welcome programme in the Brittania Adelphi Hotel by the Student Guild was quite an event. We had a traditional British tea and got a chance to socialize..I met Chandan, my classmate and Leo a veteran in the field who joined in the Electronics and Telecommunications Dept.
Thus ended a beautiful day...

A new beginning

.

My life in the United Kingdom started yesterday.
No words could describe Manchester, the city of
cotton mills.I am a lot more surprised than what
I expected.
It's drizzling outside.
I'm too tired to stay awake and enjoy myself.
But no worries, there is time, enough and more..

The hard way

If I decide to live in darkness there might be 1000 ways but if I choose to be righteous there is only one way, the way too narrow and thorny, not often chosen by people - The hard way or the way of a Christian.

Yes, suffering is my privilege and I shall not grumble for my Lord himself did suffer till his last breath in the cross.

All I need is that promise ,
Fear thou not for I'm with thee;be not dismayed
